Al (aka Dad) Al grew up with racing fuel in his veins; he has had a knack for cars all his life. Al started in the business back in 1970's, as a transmission builder for a small transmission shop and then moved on to be the transmission rebuilder foremen for a very large transmission shop in Akron. In 1992 he opened his own business, A.T.P.A. Transmissions, which he had for over 20 years. Al is a highly skilled builder, a critical thinker and is guaranteed to assemble your transmission with care.
Al Junior V Owner
Al grew up with transmission fluid on his bib and grit under his fingernails. Al Jr. has learned from the best, his father, the ins and outs of the tranny world and is at the forefront of this business. You will find his name on the building, but that is not all. He is dedicated to the success of this business and the satisfaction of his customers. He will be the one greeting you on the phone or in the shop; he rebuilds, diagnoses and is the glue that holds daily functions together.
Mike M Service Adviser
Mike has been working in the auto repair business for 30 years and can be trusted to make sure your transmission is installed properly. Mike like most of us mechanics spends his free time working on his race car.
Doug M Technician
Doug is our tear down guy, he is the one that tears apart the transmissions and cleans them before they go to the rebuilders. Doug is a military Veteran and enjoys spending time with his grandkids.

Jenn has over 15 years of experience working as an office professional with a background in Graphic Design and Marketing. Her time away from work is spent off-roading, hiking, camping and spending as much time in the woods as she can.

John has been a technician for almost 20 years. He learned his way around a garage working for his family trucking company growing up and went on to become an ASE Certified Technician. In his spare time he enjoys off-roading, custom fabrication on trail rigs and camping.
